Jane Mudd of Callaway County, Missouri, U.S.A., is a Professional Artist, Art Educator, and Arts Advocate. My work investigates many themes: the natural world and landscape, portraits, explorations of historical events/personalities, as well as creating new myths and visions for the future.
We have a small cattle operation on our farm. There is a CAFO in my county and I have seen several films on the consequences of these gigantic animal operations. I feel that although we live in a world with an endless global demand for meat, must find a better, more humane way to raise and treat animals before we consume them -along with consideration to the people who live next to these operations.
